Overall Satisfaction with LogicMonitor
LogicMonitor has been of tremendous use for us and we primarily use it as a synthetic website monitoring solution. The entire health and performance of our website can be easily monitored with the help of LogicMonitor. Also, we use it to seamlessly monitor our end user application performance. There is 100% transparency and the troubleshooting is very much simplified which helps us achieve more efficiency in our day to day process.
Pros
- LogicMonitor is very much helpful in performing website IP address Ping checks
- The alerting system for website downtime and other important messages is very much useful
- Collaboration capabilities is very much easy with LogicMonitor. The single central observability platform is useful and saves us a lot of time.
Cons
- Sometimes the website load time is little high due to the running of LogicMonitor in the backend.
- DNS resolve times could be made more efficient
- The pricing of the product is little on the high side in my opinion.
- With LogicMonitor's smarter troubleshooting, we are able to reduce the time spent on the troubleshooting process by half
- With regular IP Ping checks, our website is pretty efficient and conducive to our end users which has helped us improve conversion by 20%.
- The dashboards and data graphs are very much detailed and insightful enabling us better our overall working efficiency by 25%.
We have currently deployed LogicMonitor is only one of our location. It does not span multiple geographic locations as on now. With respect to number of devices, we use it across 75 on premise devices and 2 cloud servers. Our primary objective is website monitoring which is hosted across the AWS server.
Currently most of our day to day operations are on the cloud and we will completely migrate in the next 2 quarters. LogicMonitor has a very big impact on our cloud migration process. With website monitoring being our primary use case with LogicMonitor, cloud migration is very much crucial for us and it is smoothly enabled with the help of LogicMonitor.
LogicMonitor's automation capabilities have been very much helpful for us. Tasks and process that usually take a week or so to complete, are now finished with a day or 2 thanks to the automation capabilities of LogicMonitor. Also, the number of errors are greatly reduced thereby improving data reliability and our overall working efficiency.
