Overall Satisfaction with Lessonly
We use Lessonly in our operations department for on-boarding and knowledge retention. We hope to expand use to other departments as well. The operations role is very knowledge- and learning-intensive, and individual training can be extremely time-consuming and resource heavy, so Lessonly fulfills a great need in the organization.
Pros
- Very user-friendly interface
- Ability to add all different types of elements to the lessons
Cons
- Lesson visibility can sometimes be a challenge (must assign to learners).
- The flow of clicking on a lesson from the content page sometimes seems not intuitive. It takes you to a lesson summary page rather than the lesson itself.
- Resource-saving (time spent on on-boarding)
- Knowledge sharing
Lessonly offers a feature that was critical for us, which was a full search feature (within content as well as tags, titles, etc.). This really put Lessonly over the top for us.
