Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Kyriba is used across our organization for cash positioning, cashflow forecasting, GL interface and partially for loan management.

Debt module for loan tracking
IHB module for loan tracking, schedules, accruals and interest statements
Straight through processing for loan management
Display of global cash balances by categories, hard to slide/dice data, limited to only setting up positions by Kyriba standards

Return on Investment

Bank data integration allows our company to set cash position early in the morning.
Cash flow forecasting allows our company to evaluate results and set goals for forecasting.

Alternatives Considered

Debt and Bank fee

Cash Management works well, but system lacks robust loan module and reporting

Kyriba is well suited for cash balancing, reporting and cashflow forecasting. Kyriba is not well positioned to be used across centralized treasury organization, it lacks reporting, configuration and support.

Allison, thank you for your valuable feedback. Regarding some of your comments: - In terms of displaying global cash positions, our new business intelligence solution is made for this very purpose and has been very well received by clients. - We are adding new workflow features within our debt module that will greatly enhance the experience. We have also added substantially to our entire client success team to ensure that our clients take advantage of these new features and capabilities. - Re: our IHB module, Kyriba, like every other TMS, has a separate way of tracking structured intercompany loans v. cash pooling via an in-house bank. The transactions are very different – one as a way of managing cash, vs. loans that are internal financial instruments. Hope this helps. Thank you for being a Kyriba client. Erik
