Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
My use of Power PDF goes hand in hand with PaperPort. The two applications work seamlessly together. Document scanning and conversion to and from other formats such a Office formats is made easy.
My usage is in preparing contract documents and legal document bundles so the ability to move pages around, to edit, and have good indexing with links that can also be edited is great. E-signatures and adding wet sig copies works well.

Pros
- Bundling multiple PDF documents
- Editing PDF documents
- Conversion of documents to/from other formats
- Bookmarks and indexing with hot links to easily navigate large PDF documents
Cons
- Getting in and out of the edit function
- Bundling large numbers [50+] of PDF docs can mean bundling bundles which is clunky
- Management whilst in Document assembly view for large, many page, documents get difficult
- Price point is better than the usual rival
- Manually, Office based solution, doing what is required would be nearly impossible but easy with Kofax
- Time saving is immense so is a material cost saving. The functionality is essential
This is covered. Quicker, easier and releases me to get on with other things sooner with than without Kofax. Very good value for money.
Much easier to use. TBH I bought Nuance based on reviews and price point. A risk that proved worth taking.
