Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF

We used Kofax Power PDF as our default pdf reader and editor in an in-house litigation department that transitioned from conventional file organization to a fully paperless environment.

Pros

  • Easy to use, even for users who had little to no experience with pdf editing.
  • Reliable
  • Robust - able to do all we needed and more!

Cons

  • Bates numbering could be made simpler to learn
  • Reduced paper costs
  • Increased paperless efficiency
  • Enabled more thorough and organized record keeping

Editing, esignature, numbering, redaction
I think it is very well suited to document review and production. Security and redaction tools are intuitive. General editing features are similarly user-friendly. Commenting, highlighting, and mark-up worked well for field users so they could use documents without printing to paper.
