Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
Pros
- I appreciate the automatic check for duplicate entries. I enter hundreds of contacts on a weekly basis so avoiding duplicates helps manage the time spent entering information.
- The export feature is key for my work. I use the export feature daily to help generate a report for sample/literature requests. Because I can export into an Excel spreadsheet, this cuts down on the time it used to take me to generate my request reports.
- The tasks feature is one of my favorites! This feature helps me organize particular contacts with very specific needs that I must address by a certain time. It helps me with time management because it allows me to assign a deadline date and very specific instructions for what needs to be done.
Cons
- The tab feature when entering information for a new contact does not alway work. For example, I will enter the first name, last name, business, etc., and then tab down to telephone number and when the field box opens for the telephone number, I still have to click into the box to enter the data.
- It would be nice to have Insightly link to QuickBooks contacts for cross referencing purposes.
- If we could have our literature/samples request automatically routed from our website directly into Insightly, that would cut down on the time it takes to manually enter the information.
