Overall Satisfaction with IBM Turbonomic
Turbonomic can be called our early warning system. Instead of just warning us of when there is an issue, Turbonomic will take steps to fix the problems it finds, and make changes so that they do not become major problems or outages.

- Can increase resources when needed on the fly
- Early warming/notification of possible issues because of resources

- Application performance has been a big one. With Turbonomic keeping everything running at top performance, it can make changes when extra resources are need, quicker than somebody being notified and then making the necessary changes.
- Turbonomic has been a great cost savings for us on multiple occasions. We use it every time we are improving servers.
- With the planning feature we get the best performance form new hardware purchases
- SolarWinds Virtualization Manager (VMAN) and Foglight
Turbonomic blew the doors off the competition. When we did a comparison to our current application that was monitoring our environment, Turbonomic surpassed them with flying colors at the start during the POC. Then during the POC white we were kicking the tires around the block, we found extra features/abilities that added to the benefits and even replaced some other utilities.

Turbonomic has improved application performance for the business and all users/customers. Turbonomic keeps us running at optimal performance which allows us to better serve our end-users in the company; which then better serves our customers. Turbonomic helps limit the slowness that can be experienced at peak usage and can increase resources faster than somebody being notified that there is an issue and then their time to make improvements.
IT staff productivity has been increased. The ability of Turbonomic making changes on it's own improved the response time to an issue (especially after hours). This allows IT staff to focus on other items/projects. Many times we see items after they have already been fixed. We can see what changes Turbonomic has made and then see how the changes fixed an issue without the IT staff having to have hands-on to correct the issue/performance.
We are not using the cloud heavy currently.
