Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting

I use GTM for 1-1 instruction for my colleagues. The ease of use for both me and my trainees are the reason we use it over Zoom, along with all the extra awesome features that other platforms seem to miss. From larger training webinars to these 1-1 sessions, this platform just delivers consistent results and great feedback from my peers.

Pros

  • Easy one click join for attendees
  • Great interactive features
  • Super support and documentation

Cons

  • It’s expensive. Better pricing would be nice.
  • People love how easy it is to hop on a support call.
  • Calendar integration makes 1-1 scheduling easy for me and those who need my help.
  • The annotation and whiteboard features are commonly mentioned by my colleagues.
We use Zoom for the entire organization because it’s far more cost effective. But, my role as training manager requires my use of GTM to allow all the required features that make my training sessions the most productive. I would always prefer to use GTM over Zoom because the platform is so easy and user friendly yet amazingly powerful. Zoom has the features for the most part, but they aren’t as intuitive to use in my experience.

Yes

I love it for small or 1-1 sessions but the pricing makes it prohibitive for large events in my organization. Though it’s amazing for large webinars, the pricing keeps us from employing it organization-wide with large seat licenses and instead we use Zoom. I can’t think of a situation where GTM is not well suited for online meetings or where it’s not better than Zoom, so I really do believe it all comes down to pricing.
