Overall Satisfaction with Google Cloud Speech-to-Text

Official speeches transcribed with great accuracy for publication and archiving purposes. Meeting instructions also conveyed with great deal of clarity while minimizing the effort to type during work. Being part of Google Suite, it is very to integrate with other business solutions/platforms and enhance productivity and effectiveness at workplace. Further scope for use case includes employee training and making audio-resources more effective.

Pros

  • Documentation of speeches for in-house publications
  • Briefings for training sessions
  • Notes for day-to-day work

Cons

  • A wider range of speech accents should be included over the time
  • Support for low resources languages/dialects should be taken into consideration for future development
  • Better scope for no code integration with multiple applications/software
  • Doesn't require additional equipment or tools for operational purposes which makes it cost and time effective
  • Usage-based billing makes it a preferred choice for use as compared to other SaaS
  • Separate administrative setup not required as it is a part of Google Cloud
Because there is a scope to include low resource languages in future.
