Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Expensify is mainly by anyone in our market-facing organization. This includes all account managers (customer success), sales professionals, business development and marketing. It allows the company to easily track not only which department is spending what amount but for what function across what vendor.

Pros and Cons

Pros

The mobile app is super straightforward and easy to use. No need to keep a pile of receipts anymore. You can take a picture of it on the fly.
Properly tracking expenses by individual and department.

Cons

A visual timeline of progression.
Definitions of terminology.

Return on Investment

Allows the company to institute company policy to control over-spending.
Allows the company to identify individuals that over-spend.

Alternatives Considered

Concur Travel and Expense

The platforms are fairly similar. I enjoy the Expensify user experience more so. I feel it is just that much more simple and easy to use.

Support Rating

I have not required support on the platform yet. It's very user-friendly for what I need to do.

Likelihood to Recommend

Expensify is well suited for organizations with robust needs to account for multiple people out in the field traveling, entertaining clients and conducting business on the go. The platform might not be as well suited for smaller organizations where more traditional means of accounting for expenses meet the overall business needs.
