Overall Satisfaction with ESET PROTECT
As a service provider, we use ESET products to protect our customers infrastructure (Servers, endpoints, mailservers). We use all features available (including firewall, webcontrol, ..) to fully protect all devices. EDR is implemented at some customers and MDR is currently investigated because some of our customers need a SOC but are too small for many SOC providers
Pros
- No impact on performance
- Detections in the top tier level
- Many protection features (firewall, web control, patch management, ..)
- Evolution of the product almost always in the right direction (improvements)
Cons
- Reporting complicated and lacking agility
- Some features only available in Protect Cloud (Patch & Vulnerability)
- Reducing number of security products and partners
