Better for End Users than Agencies
Overall Satisfaction with Emma
Emma's dashboard isn't bad and the customer service was very good, but the actual email builder needs some work. We were a white label partner and we had issues with the email not looking the same when sent as it did in the builder. We have since moved to SendGrid.
Pros
- Good amount of templates
- Good customer service
Cons
- Inconsistent display of email, even compared to builder
- Deliverability wasn't perfect
- We ran Emma for several of our clients and each had a positive impact, but that is likely due more to email marketing in general than Emma specifically.
We moved from Emma to SendGrid. The deliverability of Emma is lower than Sendgrid and the overall functionality of Sendgrid feels more fit for a digital marketing agency. The number and design of the Emma templates far surpasses that of Sendgrid though. Emma is much more suited to the end consumer than an agency. Sendgrid is more suited to an agency.
