Overall Satisfaction with e-automate

We are are copier dealer we use this for customer accounts and accounts payable. We also use it to keep up with meters and service calls.

Pros

  • allow us to keep up with customer meters
  • allow us to keep up with customer bills
  • allows us to keep up with our payables

Cons

  • the credit card processing is too much work
  • when we get an ACH it wont let me enter it easily
  • reports are not user friendly
  • This is the easiest software we have experienced for this industry
  • training videos have a lot of fluff. We need to get to the point more quickly
The contracts can get lost easily. If a contract isn't billing ,it can take a while to find it.
The system doesn't flow well for us. I believe part of this is our fault, but it is just not an easy flow.
We are on premise, but have just signed on to go to the cloud.
We used OMD years ago. In our experience, it was horrible.

It is easy to add meters and see service calls. In our experience, it is not easy to use right off the bat for new employees.
