Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

PWRJOULE uses Dropbox as a main place to securely share files. Our startup team knows to deposit files in Dropbox to share rather than attach to emails that might go to the wrong person.

Dropbox has well organized interface to create and store files. To date Dropbox is supporting 10 team members.

  • Cost
  • More user accounts should get breaks on rates
  • Personal accounts and company accounts get confused
  • Before Dropbox we didn't know were the latest version of file resided
  • We didn't have a secure sense of our IP
  • The cost has been high for a startup at $200 a month for 10 team mebers

We had two instances were team members had prior personal Dropbox became intertwined with company accounts. One instance were I accidentally cleaned up files that were associated with personal data. I asked Dropbox to retrieve the data. After months of assurance that they could retrieve the data, they were unsuccessful to retrieve the data.
