Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
Dropbox is used in our organization to upload and share files. We had issues in sharing large sized files with staff who are abroad and we had to use several servers and store data where we faced limitation of space and here come Dropbox which helped us save time and cost.
Pros
- Very easy to use and upload files.
- Uploading and downloading takes no time. Its a cloud concept and it saves a lot of time.
- It does not require a lot of training and every person in organization can share their files with a click.
Cons
- Synchronizing could be an issue at limited times. This should be worked on.
- The website might go down. Happened two times which delayed downloading of files. This can be improved.
- Login issues. Sometimes you need to try a couple of times to be able to login therefore there is room for improvement here.
- Being a cloud platform.
- It cuts cost as you can create a free account at the beginning.
- Training on Dropbox takes only few minutes.
- It saves a lot of space on our servers.
- Cost of storage on our servers and buying extra storage devices. This for sure has saved a lot of cost.
- Time spent on cleaning our servers where Dropbox can perform this faster and in a better way.
Dropbox customer support and availability worldwide is better, it is more compatible with other programs and browsers and it rarely stops working.
There is plenty of space on Dropbox that you can use from Dropbox and it takes lesser steps to upload or download or even to share files with others.
