Dashlane is the app to beat!
Overall Satisfaction with Dashlane Password Manager
We use a corporate virtual credit card company and securely store/share credit card info as needed via the Payments section of Dashlane. We've also migrated all of our 2FA codes into Dashlane, significantly reducing support requests when a user needs to log into a platform with 2FA. We also use Secure Notes and the Password Generator, all through Chrome extensions, to keep us in Chrome working and not hopping from app to app or device to device.
Pros
- Chrome Extension.
- Password Generator.
- Secure Notes.
Cons
- I wish it would keep us logged in longer.
- I wish it would display the password pop-up selector only in one place (either at the password field or in the Chrome extension area), not both.
- It's VERY frustrating when you generate a password, and some apps don't recognize the app/password generated, but it says it saved it. Still, either doesn't save it at all, or the app saves it under the third-party provider name, not the site name (the only example I can think of off the top of my head is not something I noticed with Dashlane but with Apple Keychain was signing up for an account with Zaxby's app on iPhone and it saved the password for "NextLevel.com" or something and I couldn't find my login for the longest time.
- The biggest win for us has been the time and energy saved by users' being able to retrieve their own 2FA codes.
- The ability to wean users from insecure passwords and take advantage of the effortless password generation feature is excellent.
