Overall Satisfaction with CodeSignal

I used CodeSignal to send an employer an assessment of my coding skills, so it solved the problem of communicating to an employer the skills that I had and could offer them. The scope of my use case is limited to myself since I used it for personal use.

Pros

  • Very nice and user friendly UI.
  • Interesting coding problems.

Cons

  • Grading assessment scoring punishes you for thinking more about a problem you cannot solve.
  • Coding assessments.
  • Negative since my coding assessment has not received a reply.

Do you think CodeSignal delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with CodeSignal's feature set?

Yes

Did CodeSignal live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of CodeSignal go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy CodeSignal again?

Yes

CodeSignal is well suited for assessing the coding skills of potential hires for a software company in my experience. It has a simple and easy-to-use interface that does not deter many people from using it. It would be less appropriate as a way to teach or train to code since there are superior resources for that.
