Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN

We use Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN to provide a new IP fabric to our customers. The goal was to shift from Mel’s to the internet.

Cons

  • Firewalling
  • Given application visibility
  • Improve dashboard
  • Reduce cost of the wan
  • Nuage Networks Virtualized Services Platform (VSP)
Nokia was very good for a large scale deployment. Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN was better for a small scale deployment (cost less). The product have similar features. The differentiator was at the cost level.

Using Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN

200 - All type of busines are using the SD-WAN solution it replace our old MPLS network.
10 - We have a serive that do the in-house support oif the SD-WAN. They are all Network engineer.

  • ZScaler connector
  • the tunnels colored
The SD-WAN router do swhat they are designed for.
The only caveats is the lack of security feature, embeded.
