Using Cisco 1000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 1000)
50 - The individuals who use the Cisco 100 Series router represent almost all business functions provided by our organization. I suppose they are primarily engaged in work that requires internet access, such as legal research and client communications, but even that would include nearly all levels of attorneys and staff within the organization. We also use the router to facilitate client/guest internet access without compromising network security.
1 - Our in-house information technology manager has been more than enough to support our ongoing use of the Cisco 100 Series routers. My understanding is that the user interface is fairly intuitive, even on the back end, and that the settings are fairly configurable to accommodate different use cases. We have found the product relatively straightforward to operate and maintain.
- Internet access for attorneys
- Internet access for staff
- Internet access for guests
- Automation
- Guest network settings
- Cloud options
- Further developing cloud capabilities
- Further streamlining of guest/client experience
