Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We are using Ceridian Dayforce as an all-in one solution to our need to manage payroll, HR, benefits, and talent management/scouting in one place. It was brought on in order to streamline old disconnected systems.
Pros
- Constantly rolling out upgrades and feature enhancements
- Easy to use interface
- Great customer support
Cons
- Support tickets sometimes redundant and cumbersome, they rely very heavily on them to the point where sometimes the issue is easier to fix than the number of/ensuring you have the correct support ticket(s).
- Integration with our other platforms is subpar or non-existent
- The UI is kind of dated and lacks a visual appeal
- Ceridian Dayforce has allowed us to end contracts with 3 other vendors that provided separate tools for us by combining features into one solution.
- Ceridian Dayforce was an expensive on-boarding for the enterprise model we needed in our solution so we had to budget accordingly
- Ceridian Dayforce has reduced the time HR employees have had to spend in transferring data between systems. We estimated that we have saved 2.3 full-time positions by using this software.
Ceridian Dayforce makes it easy to run reports for all things compliance related. It comes with a ton of pre-built reports and forms that you can very easily customize. This is ideal for our workplace where there tends to be some relatively high turnover in HR and the required training of employees on how to build compliance reporting is now diminished.
The facts that Ceridian Dayforce is in real-time, we now have the ability to fill positions quicker and weed out ill-fitting candidates without wasting planning days and meeting times to manually pick through applicants on the hiring team. This has been such a great time saver for so many people since we require input and representation from all departments on our hiring teams.
We really did not look at many other products since this one was the first one we began looking at and were "sold" very quickly on the real-time, all-in-one solution it appeared to offer. We were previously using separate systems for talent acquisition, payroll, and HR benefits. This has everything in one.
