Overall Satisfaction with Celigo

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Celigo for a ton of stuff. Almost all of the use cases involve Oracle NetSuite. We started with Celigo as integrate Ariba and NetSuite. We now have integrations with Coupa, Service Channel, our Bank, out Credit Cards, etc.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Error Management is better than anything you can build on your own
Celigo makes visibility of your data between platforms very nice
Broad Capabilities. Anything with an API can be connected.

Cons

Documentation has gotten better over the years, but could improve.
Marketing efforts could be greater. Its a terrific product that people should know about
More webinars could be helpful to show how folks are saving time and money.

Return on Investment

We have doubled our revenue in the past 5 years. My Accounting staff headcount has actually decreased. We are able to process so much with Celigo/NetSuite.
Nothing gets missed. We use Celigo to pull invoice/order data from NetSuite and send to various customers. I set up the schedules and know those invoices get to the correct place. My A/R balance is 99% current.
Data accuracy is outstanding. We don't have human order entry errors anymore. I know my customers are getting what they ordered and we are processing their requests correctly.

Usability

There is a bit of a learning curve, but not bad. Once you get a flow or two under your belt, there will be no stopping you. You will start to see possibilities and ways to apply automation and integration throughout your business. It becomes fun to look for additional ways to save money, time, and improve accuracy.

Alternatives Considered

Boomi and Jitterbit

We demoed some of these other integration options. The learning curve seemed a bit steeper and the offerings less robust, so we did not pursue very far. I cannot speak to the others much. We have not had a reason to stray from Celigo.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you need to connect NetSuite to some other platform or application, you should reach for Celigo. It is a true Integration Platform. I can write code and build integrations from scratch, but they will never be as solid as what Celigo already has built. Also, Celigo gives non-developers superpowers. In NetSuite, it can be used as an alternative to SuiteScripting.
