Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT

We use FE NXT for all of our financial needs. I was responsible for Accounts Payable and used it daily. It was easy to come from RE to FE as their interfaces are roughly the same and you can carry over skills from one to the other. It is robust with its reporting tools and our team is happy with it.

We use it to keep track of things from annual funds to endowments. We are able to report on our incoming and outgoing expenses in a matter of minutes that allows us to use this data for decision making in meetings. We are able to separate things easily on the general ledger for various accounts for restricted donations and expenses.
We utilize live dashboards to allow our teams to see where we are at and which areas we need to improve on. We have been able to easily track and cut expenses that are unneeded to help our organization be more effective at performing our mission.

Yes

I have found that it is good for Non Profit Organizations who use both Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge together to cut down on double data-entry and other things such as reducing reconciliation errors and check times. We have found that sometimes, some of the reports and numbers are different for seemingly no reason from one run of the report to the next. We have spent many hours on hold with BlackBaud trying to resolve some of these issues we have found.
