Overall Satisfaction with AxisCare Home Care Software
We utilize AxisCare for recording daily work activity, notes on supports provided, ADLs, mileage, odometer readings, bimonthly billing, payroll data, Oregon EVV reporting, monthly reports, and quarterly reports.

Cons
- Daily hours expended should also show the caregiver a running total for the month or pay period with maximum allowed.
- Miles reported should also collect odometer readings to support tax free mileage records to the IRS
- Oregon EVV reporting includes hours only but does not include mileage. The EVV billing reports should also include miles. I have to create a partial custom report, save as CSV, and manually edit that file for EVV miles reporting. This is unwanted wasted labor for a report that should be included in AxisCare.
- Daily miles expended should show the caregiver a running total for the month of miles used with the maximum allowed.
- Reports should be available that compare monthly hours and miles maximums to the amount used by client and by caregiver.
- The standard web font used does not distinguish between O and 0 or 1 and l well. An option to display mixed data in a monspaced font that better distinguishes these items would be a nice option.
- AxisCare data is critical to our company profitability, growth, and efficiency. The ability to utilize data effectively provides us with the means to grow and expand responsibly.
- Our projections for business growth suggest we will double our new client setup labor (AxisCare setup) for the same amount of profit stream. Only with the efficiency of AxisCare will it be possible to support the added labor required for this effort.
- End of month reports, quarterly reports, progress notes, and billing data are supported well by AxisCare. These items could be streamlined to further reduce our data processing labor.
- AxisCare is missing client associated protocol plans and other risk assessment documents. These should be available to the client and caregiver as associated with the needs of that client.
- Therap Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Our caregivers like the AxisCare mobile application better. The overall ease of use is much better than Therap. We used Therap for some time before identifying advantages that supported our change to AxisCare. Although we were told AxisCare would completely support Oregon EVV billing, this was not completely true - but the other advantages of AxisCare were positive enough to retain the software for ongoing use.
