Overall Satisfaction with Astra DB

We use Astra DB as our main database provider. It has helped us keeping our data secured and organized. The working environment has become more efficient due to this. This tool is highly recommended for easy to manage database uses. It has definitely helped us combat our unorganized data structure.

  • Needed integration with other apache products
  • It could be a little cost saving
  • More database means more clients
  • Data is well categorized and accessible
  • It is a bit expensive but complete value for money
The product's standard is very high and far exceeds that of Apache Cassandra's open source counterpart. As Astra DB is very smooth to operate, our employees learnt the tool real quick, and thus the working within our environment has become more efficient. The customer service always clears our doubt regarding things.
Due to Astra DB's high availability it has become one of the most used tools in our organization. The easy set up and configuration can be managed by even mere employees, thus not much time is wasted in deployment and we can further work faster on the database system. This tool is highly recommended.
Astra DB supports apache cassandra which in itself is a plus point. It's primary database model has a wide column store. Deployment of Astra Db takes minutes in AWS, Google Cloud, Azure. Also it is schema free. It also has advanced replication for edge computing. In other words, Astra DB is a far better database.

Astra DB is a great tool to improve training and organization throughout our company. It has horizontal infinite scalability, distributed capacity, and availability. The ease of the backup tool was one thing I hoped to see in their upcoming major version. Possibly flexible integration within OpsCenter. Astra DB is a great tool to be used.
