It has an initial learning curve, and it's important to understand the Cassandra architecture and principles if you want to take the best from it. Also the connection could be challenging at the beginning, but it's because of the security standards. Once you add it to your toolbox, you will discover a lot of scenarios where it goes over other storage solutions.
