Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis

Ascentis is used to process payroll, for employee recruitment, and benefits management throughout our entire organization

Pros

  • The dashboards are easy to interpret

Cons

  • Creating Ad Hoc Reports is difficult and not intuitive
  • Recruitment has too much back and forth as you process a new hire
  • Moving between Timekeeper and Payroll is awkward
  • Information in ESS is difficult to find and not located in a logical place
  • Negative because employees do not use it
  • Wastes HR time because employees can't easily access it on their phone
  • The app has limited information available
The support people are always helpful and pleasant

Ascentis has a lot of glitches that make using it difficult
The timeclock feature seems to work well, accruals for PTO seem to work well. Processing payroll works ok, but the messages about completion of data compilation are lacking.
