Apptio One is used for tying IT cost for on-prem and cloud. We are trying to have Cost Transparency through the IT towers.
Pros
- Structure the data
- Labeling and Naming Conventions
- Insights on the data (Spend/Cost/Forecast)
Cons
- More robust reporting capabilities (Visualizations/Front-end customizations) in my opinion.
After consuming the data and modeling it, we have been able to see the flaws and relationship issues with the Status of Funds and other reports.
- Identified gaps in process
- Identified relationship gaps.
- Assisted with budgeting conversations with better data.
