Overall Satisfaction with ApptioOne
I'm now setting up the ITP and "Cost Transparency". The major objective is to distribute costs around business units using factors like manpower or cores per application. We are quite happy with the outcomes. Despite not being live yet. Additionally, the entire Master Data table setup process is quite intuitive, down to the individualization of elements and factors like business units and charts of accounts. We can keep working and see results as we test and refine our setup at every stage.
Pros
- The setting up of models and tables.
- Simplified formulas (Lookup, trim...) system.
- Out of the Box reports and frameworks are excellent.
- The opportunity for multiple users to contribute to the project.
- The ability to build custom items within the TBM Studio.
Cons
- It would be fantastic if there was a Portuguese version.
- I'd want to have a function to utilize in my cellphone that requires less configuration in the reports.
- TBM Studio generates automatic reports and sends them to users.
- The ability to have users managed by rules inside TBM Studio (for example, if someone is associated with a cost center or business unit).
Once we've created the tables and put them up, uploading (updating) the tables is a breeze. Users can perform it themselves with little or no instruction. The ability to comment on calculations and tables is quite useful. The metric diagram view is quite helpful and one of my favorite features.
- Less spreadsheets with numerous versions distributed by email.
- Errors, blunders, and the like are reduced.
- Quality reports have a fantastic power to detect errors. This has helped our databases.
- Cloudability
We don't make use of targetsprocess. The "Cloudability" is managed by a different team.
