Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Apptio Cloudability to provide business with transparency on IT costs, identify cost pools, allocate IT spend and generate insights for business decisions. Recently we have been able to build matrix that provides with costs distribution across multiple regions that helps drive stretegic decisions on IT ops. A key benefit was achieved while building App rationalization frames as well.

Tool can seem bit overwhelming but Apptio Cloudability support teams can help you navigate through UIX. The application itself can interact with other multiple modules and it has capabilities for connecting with different data sources and the most common cloud providers (Microsoft Azure and AWS). A training plan is intended when trying to use the tool for the first time.

Using the whole Apptio suite has helped us to provide Transparency of costs in mutiple areas (not only on Cloud). We have used ApptioOne for Cost Transparency, Cost allocations, Bill of IT and Consumption based analysis for our global operations.
