Acumatica Review
Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
I use Acumatica a lot. Behind the scenes, I'm creating dashboard widgets and things like that, but initially I was inputting AR invoices and putting my AP invoices, doing my cash receipts. We use it for everything.
Pros
- Particularly well is just the ease of it being able to be used. We're coming from Sage, that's the product that we used before. Sage was limited, five people could get into the system at a time. Acumatica is unlimited.
- The amount of information that's so easily accessible has made us more efficient, more productive, and it just makes for an easier workday when everybody can see the same information real time.
Cons
- That's a tough one. I don't see where they could improve. For me it's always more on the user side that we can improve. Acumatica is only as good as what you put into it, so if there's ever an issue with Acumatica, I don't blame the system. I say what if we entered in incorrectly or not enough of for the system not to be able to provide what we want.
- Positive. Again, it is just that insight that everybody can see. Whether it's my sales guy that's on the show floor that's looking at it at his mobile app, or if it's me in the office logging in every single day, I know what our inventory is. I'm never worried about if we have enough product or where everyone is at. It has it all.
Yes. So we have a few old schoolers at my company and so for them it's been really helpful to not have to worry about, "Ooh, how do I do this?" They just put in their question and Acumatica will just give them an answer and they've really enjoyed it actually.
Nothing measurable right now, other than a lot less complaints about how do I get this report or where do I go for this? So, nothing as far as concrete numbers, but it's just the general feeling in the office that there's a lot less frustrations or what have you. As far as people not understanding how to use the system.
The turnaround time as far as getting my customer invoices, the turnaround time getting my vendors paid, Acumatica has allowed me to do that. There used to be about a week in between a show finishing and me being able to send my customer out an invoice. Now that's a day and the quicker I can get those invoices out, the quicker I get paid, the quicker my vendors get paid.
We're in the exhibit industry, so we do trade shows. It's really construction based. We are project based. So Acumatica is great as far as tracking our inventory. We have a lot of rental inventory. Acumatica tracks that. Acumatica also tracks a lot of our opportunities. Anytime my sales guys go out on the floor and they talk to everyone on the show floor, they log that opportunity and the follow up, the notifications and the follow up that Acumatica provides, that equals business.
