Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

ActiveCampaign is used to reach subscribers and our clients. We are informing them about our products/services and reaching them by weekly newsletters about stuff that we are in coaching, leadership, teamwork, inspiration for goals/dreams, and insights on how to reach them.
Also, we use ActiveCampaign to guide subscribers through the whole client journey with us: from their beginning to know why we are doing to the end where we could partner together.

Pros

  • Subscribers are always one step to reach
  • A helping partner to see their engagement
  • CRM tool to find out how our business can work better

Cons

  • Still there are spam issue - emails heeded in the spam folder
  • There could be more flexibility to customize newsletters
  • Direct connection with payments
  • Some of our subscribers that were moved from another operator didn't get the emails from AC while they didn't rejoin for the newsletter
  • CRM system is much more better than we were using with another provider
  • We found newsletters templates more relevant for our customers
There were a lot more features in ActiveCampaign compared with previous ones and we decided to relaunch our whole newsletters ideas and took a risk to change everything at once.
In the beginning, we saw an improvement in the numbers and after a one year period, we finished following those numbers. Maybe that was the problem that we were not following up about the processes.

Do you think ActiveCampaign delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ActiveCampaign's feature set?

Yes

Did ActiveCampaign live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ActiveCampaign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ActiveCampaign again?

Yes

There could be a way to have support in the local language.
Also, reminders or invitations to look up about the content that is best for the customer so we could change the message we are delivering.
And it could be a sign if our emails should be fixed if they suppose to go to the spam folder of subscribers/customers.

Evaluating ActiveCampaign and Competitors

Yes - we were using mailchimp and mailerlite in the beginning.
with some advertising we started to compare what we have and what we could have and in some moments we just saw more needed features in ActiveCampaign that i didnt have with previous ones while AcitveCampaign had more and easier to use.
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
  • Product Reputation
Price was higher for ActiveCampaign but the value of the features help to make a final decision to move from earlier platforms to new one. And the main thing to make a decision was the credibility that we saw from other market leaders who were using Active Campaign as we found that there emails are reaching us exactly fro there.
i think that the price will not be the option to make a decision. after few years of using Active Campaign i see that value is much more higher than the annual payment. still i see that there are some features that we are still not using but looking to expand what Active Campaign gives.
