Overall Satisfaction with 6sense
We use it for sales and marketing. So for marketing, we use it to create targeted audiences for advertising and email. We also use it to create target lists. Then for the sales side, we use it for sales intelligence. We look at intent data and are able to determine which accounts to reach out to, which accounts are ready to buy, and what those accounts care about based on their keyword research and what other competitors they might be looking into.
Pros
- 6sense has really detailed intent data. It's very dynamic and they're always releasing new features and new products that provide even more levels of detail. They also create a custom model for you that's based on your close won sales. You can look at intent data that's super personalized to you in your business case. The integrations allow you to use the data that 6sense provides throughout your marketing stack. You can put it into your map, you can put it into your CRM, you can put it into outside advertising platforms, which allows you to really have really strong omni-channel campaigns.
Cons
- You're able to purchase contacts through 6sense, and we've certainly had issues with contacts we purchased being inaccurate. People very much a long time ago stopped working in that company or stopped having that title. So that's a challenge that I think that they should work on.
- I would say prioritizing accounts that 6sense is telling us to do has increased our win rates, has increased our meeting rates, our SDRs, prioritizing six QA from 6sense has greatly increased the amount of meetings they've been able to book. Then from there, open opportunities. Almost all of our closed won opportunities had extensive outreach via marketing. That was because of our knowledge of them through 6sense.
6sense has been very helpful in helping us anonymize information. We're able to see when an account is visiting our website, even if we don't know which individual it is. Just being able to know that people at Walmart or whatever that is have visited our site, which pages they visited, and from what location has been really helpful for our sales team and for marketing to understand where there's intent and interest.
6sense is very helpful in those things. We've been able to create more targeted marketing efforts with email and with ads based on those buying stages that 6sense creates and then our sales team prioritizes which accounts to reach out to based on those buying stages and that makes their outreach more effective and more efficient.
I think 6sense has a much more robust intent data. I don't remember that Terminus really had much into the sales intelligence. The custom model and all of that, that 6sense has did not have at Terminus.
