Great email product for business

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Zoho Mail as our main email client. It works well. Great reminders. Can get alerts if required. Integrated Calendar. All the usual things. There is a desktop app that allows you to keep working even when you are offline - as well as the browser version (which is essentially the same UI). I can recommend it.

Pros

 • Groups conversations together
 • Seamless calendar integration
 • Very quick to launch
 • Manage several email accounts from one screen

Cons

 • It does allow for notifications for various things, but I am not sure where to turn them all off
 • It only counts to 9 the unread email alert, then says 9+
 • Overall I don't think there is much they need to work on.

Likelihood to Recommend

I have used Zoho Mail for about 8 years. I see no issues with it. It works very well. I recommend Zoho Mail to any business person that needs a good, stable mail service.

Functional, but not much more

Rating: 6 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We started using Zoho Mail after we started using their CRM. The thought being that having everything integrated from one provider would allow for greater efficiency and productivity. Email is an integral component of our client communication and using the email solution that was "built in" to the CRM seemed to be appropriate.

Pros

 • Seamless integration with the Zoho CRM
 • Easy to create and share templates
 • Ability to share email drafts with colleagues to get feedback

Cons

 • Labelling and sorting emails is not on par with their competitors offerings
 • Email tracking does not seem to work reliably
 • Sent and received emails are not always visible in the CRM

Likelihood to Recommend

Zoho email is very suited to collaborative work. With the ability to quickly and easily share email drafts with colleagues and superiors, it provides an easy and practical way to get emails reviewed, and if needed edited before they are sent.

It does not seem to do a great job in terms of being able to sort and label emails, especially compared to some of its competitors.

Zoho Mail With Best visibility in mobile and desktop - Easy to use

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have created a free account there for a client there are no issues while setup but in reflecting records to hosting and getting verified it take 2 days overall I didn't face any issues while using the mail and managing the client account and the greatest thing in Zoho this is free.

Pros

 • Its easy to use in Mobile
 • A fresher can easily use
 • Super admin pannel is also easy to use

Cons

 • No 1. in uploading appearance
 • No 2. Signatures option
 • No 3. when we copy paste there are major errors that we have to fix before sending so it takes double the time

Likelihood to Recommend

I have also used it for my startup business I have not seen any glitch or issue using the free version and I have also created CRM through Zoho overall it helps me I would say 9 times out of 10 its very good but in some scenarios like copy mailing we have to set format again in the mail

Zoho Mail is the perfect email client for small and medium businesses

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Zoho mail is the main communication tool used by our company as a corporate email provider. We use it daily to exchange communications with the commercial domain. It helps us to keep in touch at all times with internal and external clients.

Pros

 • Set up your domain to have a professional account
 • Administration and management of information through cards and labels

Cons

 • When receiving an email with images that are not displayed automatically, you have to activate this function manually. It is a bit uncomfortable, I would prefer that it be activated automatically
 • The filter to search for information is not very accurate and unfriendly
 • The way to manage the storage capacity and to buy more space for the mail is not very friendly

Likelihood to Recommend

Zoho mail is perfect for small businesses to manage corporate email accounts for their team. It allows you to keep in touch with internal and external customers. It is easy to configure and manage, an ideal application for entrepreneurs and small businesses. It may not be suitable for large companies where they have a high volume of collaborating users.

Personalized and 100% professional email for greater credibility.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

• We currently use [Zoho Mail], in order to have a better professional presence and thus when necessary to send emails and newsletters. Give a better impression on our clients. In addition, we also use this tool to allow the entire organization to share items and communicate fluently within the Zoho inbox.

• This service is implemented in all departments of our company. Since it is necessary for each individual to have their own personalized email address and thus give a better impression to customers and our company.

•The first commercial problem that this email service is solving is that it allows us to have a better professional presence and thus have greater credibility regarding our services and products.

Pros

 • I really like that there is a free version in which a single user can be created. It is really useful because it allows you to evaluate each characteristic of the service without having to buy it.
 • I also really like the visual aspect of the inbox, which is partially customizable. Because you can make small changes such as changing the color, the language, and among other things.

Cons

 • One of the biggest problems zoho mail has. It is that MX, SPF and DKIM records are never perfectly placed the first time you try to configure them. Whether you do them manually or automatically, something unexpected always happens.
 • Another negative aspect of this service. Is that when you receive a message with some type of image incorporated, it is not displayed correctly and a notification appears within the email that says Show now once you activate them is that the image is displayed correctly. I would like it to be activated automatically instead of manually. Although it is a minor problem.

Likelihood to Recommend

• The best scenario to use [Zoho Mail] would be in order to answer any doubt or question that a client has about our services or products.

• A bad scenario would be to do it for a personal and not a professional purpose.

Worth every bit of what you pay, compares to larger more expensive hosts.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Zoho Mail across our entire organization. We are able to host our mail with a pretty easy-to-use interface for admins to deal with spam, audit logs, etc. in a centralized location. If a user forgets a password it's pretty simple to reset it from my mobile phone quickly to keep downtime to a minimum. The pricing for what you get is pretty outstanding so we can add or remove emails as needed without a large hit to the budget.

Pros

 • Alerts to admins and users when mail box storage is close to full.
 • Downtime is almost non existent and has been reliable in the 2 years we have used it.
 • Managing user accounts via mobile app or web browser is simple once you get the hang of it.

Cons

 • Navigating around the admin menus is annoying. You can't sort alphabetically or by anything really. Where most programs you can click a header to sort, Zoho Mail does not contain this functionality. You have to sort through your users page by page until you find who you are looking for.
 • Unblocking users is a common occurrence because of the extremely sensitive rules they have in place server side. They claim no mass marketing but we have several salesmen who have to send the same invoice and information to multiple people within our company and they constantly get marked as spam, blocked, then I have to unblock them.
 • Things are named strangely in the back end. There is something similar to Google's filtering for promotional emails and social emails that Zoho has tried to implement, but it is on by default and cannot be shut off for everyone in one fell swoop. You have to have every single user log into the web portal to disable "streams" or emails that Zoho decides fits a certain criteria will skip the inbox and show up in a folder called "Notifications" or "Messages" and it took a very long time for my users to get used to needing to search this additional set of folders.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you don't have a huge budget and want something that works with minor quirks here and there then Zoho Mail is definitely something you should look into. For half the price of Google G Suite or Office account you get 5GB of storage per user and can send up to 25MB emails without restrictions. Great for small businesses in my opinion.

I have had some issues with their spam filter, but we use SpamTitan and just shut off the one that comes with Zoho Mail. Zoho's spam filter isn't horrible but you should definitely use something in addition or instead of what comes with Zoho.
