E-automate is uses in our company which is a sale driven company. it is not totally user friendly if you are not a technically savvy person.
But once you use it a few times, you are good to go.
We enter all our new customers into the system, which has company name, address, telephone number, email, website, contact name, direct number, equipment makes, model and serial number.
We add Technicians names, numbers, and e mail addresses. We use it to track customers who have expired leases that's coming up.
We enter service calls, that go directly to each technician cell phone.
I love the service dispatch console.
We can send promotional e amils to customers.
We track supplies inventory. We put in equipment inventory.
We do monthly accounts billing.
We run accounts receivable reports.
We can run customers list by vertical markets.

Cons
  • Make it more user friendly as to where to find icons that we use daily.
  • The Technicians Console should be like what we see on the PC

We use several of their products, including their ERPs, eAutomate, and Khameleon.
  • Products specialized for specific industries.
  • Has a variety of bolt-on solutions.
Cons
  • Only some of their offerings have competitive cloud versions.
  • Their software doesn't like to play with others if you are trying to create an API that isn't for another part of their software. Good luck.
  • Customer service is sometimes a response, but not so much.
They have some very powerful software for specialized industries.

We use e-automate in every area of our business. It is a crucial piece of almost every business process. From service to sales to finance, every department fully utilizes e-automate. E-automate allows our business to provide excellent customer service to our customers by providing quick access to key information. E-automate also provides clear visibility into the performance of each department and facilitates smart decision making to continue to increase our revenues.
  • E-automates interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making our employees more efficient in performing their job tasks.
  • The reporting is available in summary or detail versions, and includes the option to filter even the most complex of queries to get right to the key information needed.
  • E-views fill the gap where an existing report may not present the data in the desired format or where a user needs to export the data for use in other analysis tools.
  • User management is easy with a very rich permissions structure to allow administrators to finely tune the access each user needs.
Cons
  • E-automates API needs to be updated to include some of the more advanced get and update methods.
  • The leasing functions need to be enriched to provide easier management of leased contracts.
  • A smart notification or alert system, to trigger emails or actions based upon events is very basic and limited.
For the office equipment industry, there is none better than e-automate. I've used other software and assessed newer offerings, but they all lack the complete suite of tools necessary for our business. Managing multiple ERP solutions and other information silos can take up valuable time. E-automate allows businesses to consolidate those silos into one centralized platform. Unless you are a business with 5 or fewer customers, e-automate can greatly improve your business efficiency and help drive revenue.

It's a great solution for our dealership - we use most modules of e-automate.

Customer service is weak - asking for help is a challenge not quick to respond - cost is becoming prohibitive - looking at alternative solutions.

We use e-automate for sales, purchasing, inventory, control, equipment tracking, accounts payable, general ledger, e-agent. We try to use e-automate to its full potential. Are we there yet? No but hope to get there. We currently have copier, Managed IT, phone and fiber internet divisions

e-automate has some features that are easy for new users to follow but when you get into the meat of the software it becomes clunky and you have areas that should integrate seemlessly but do not. You have to exit programs to find information instead of being able to access it from the one you are in. This causes the user to have to open multiple sessions if the dont want to exit because not all areas allow you to save work in progress like ap invoice entry for an example
