Perfect for what we needed

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are currently using Archie for managing desks, conference rooms and offices. Their system is easy to use and it's fully connected with microsoft so we can use it from there too. Overall I would say it fits our needs very well and personally I like their app.

Pros

  • You can customize the inventory in a lot of different ways
  • The floor plans are drag and drop, it still takes time to edit them but it's very easy
  • Managing user groups and what they can book is pretty straightforward

Cons

  • The mobile app is sleek in terms of design but usability is slightly below that of the web portal
  • Depending on the resource, booking by hour vs booking a full day requires an extra click

Likelihood to Recommend

Archie is great if you need to manage your entire office eg: how your team reserves a desk, how they book meeting rooms and so on. They don't sell any hardware so you'll have to get your own tablets if you need those for meeting rooms. I would say the experience is even better when embedded into teams/outlook.

Good experience with Archie

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We manage access, desks, rooms, and internal comms in our shared office. It's our main workspace platform now.

Pros

  • Very fast to get used to, everyone is using it. Even admins can learn it pretty fast
  • Works well on desktop and mobile, it's overall just an easy experience.

Cons

  • There are some limits to what you can customize
  • Some parts of the app are a bit rough around the edges

Likelihood to Recommend

Perfect fit for modern shared offices/coworking setups. Not needed if you only want a basic calendar or booking tool, as you'd be getting tons of other features on top that you don't need.

Simple and get the job done

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Archie for desk and room reservations. We have tablets outside of meeting rooms and use either that or the calendar integration to book.

Pros

  • Everything is synced to the calendar so we can book rooms from there
  • The floor plan view is helpful especially for desks
  • The mobile app is great, it's quick to do anything

Cons

  • There are minor bugs here and there, usually non-critical stuff, but something you'd still notice
  • I've been logged out of the mobile app multiple times

Likelihood to Recommend

Great either for offices with a lot of meeting spaces, not necessarily just conference room, but also offices or other spaces. Same thing for hybrid teams that need desk booking because of that.

Very happy with how Archie works

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Archie for managing different aspects of our memberships like billing, room bookings, and giving people tools to engage with their coworkers.

Pros

  • Self-serve desk and room booking
  • Lots of options to customize billing setting
  • Clear taskboard dashboard
  • Nice apps for mobile and tablet

Cons

  • No automated end user onboarding within the apps when you download one
  • The UI is simple and intuitive, but feels a bit dates in terms of design

Likelihood to Recommend

Perfect for medium/large coworking spaces. I think it can be a good option for any company that needs to book out resources or manage members, but, in my opinion, it is clearly built for office/workplace scenarios rather than other types of facilities.

Easy to use visitor check-in kiosk

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Archie for visitor check-ins and monitoring who is on our premises (two different offices). I think it handles everything really well from pre-registering visitors to the simple interface where they actually sign in, sign-in. The system connects to Brother printers for badge printing.

Pros

  • It's easy to collect visitor information ahead of time or once they arrive, thanks to the different visit types you can set up
  • Hosts get notified when a visitor checks in, this was a clear requirement for us
  • The visitor app itself is nice, simple and works well, plus it's easy to customize the different steps visitors have to follow

Cons

  • ID scanning does not retreive informations, it's just to store a picture of the document
  • SMS notifications require connecting Archie to a Twilio account

Likelihood to Recommend

Great for office spaces with regular guests coming in, I'd say it's easy to justify the cost unless you have very few guests coming in.

An easy way to welcome and track guests

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Archie handles our visitor registration from start to finish, including sign-ins, badge printing, and notifications. It helps us know exactly who is in the building and when, and ensures visitors are approved ahead of time.

Pros

  • Pre-registration flows are easy to set up
  • Hosts get notified instantly when their visitor arrives
  • Visitor badges look professional and print fast

Cons

  • I’d like more flexibility in customizing the check-in flow based on the answers given
  • Delivery management could be more automated

Likelihood to Recommend

Very useful in companies that need a professional check-in process and a secure, logged way to welcome visitors

Positive experience

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We introduced Archie to have a better process for our team to find available desks, know when others will be at the office, and manage meeting room reservations in a more organized way.

Pros

  • Their customer service team is always helpful and fast in replying via chat or email.
  • The platform is exceptionally easy to use and customize to our needs.
  • It integrates with Microsoft Teams and Outlook

Cons

  • There are occasional bugs or usability issues, mainly on new features
  • You cannot create specific hybrid policies (eg: minimum office days required per week) within the platform

Likelihood to Recommend

Flexible workspaces, coworking spaces, companies like us running on a hyrbid schedule, basically any scneario where you want to optimize desk/room usage and organize how people schedule their office days.

Satisfied Archie user

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We now manage all desks and meeting spaces with Archie, where we previously used O365. The fact that it's integrated into Teams and Outlook made the switch very easy, and I find it a very good solution.

Pros

  • Integrations with Teams and Outlook
  • Office floor maps
  • Colleague search function

Cons

  • Add favorite rooms and resources
  • Add shortcuts to the mobile app
  • More onboarding material

Likelihood to Recommend

Perfect for companies with lots of meeting areas or running on a hybrid schedule.

Archie for coworking

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Archie for renting out specifc areas of our office building as well as tracking who comes to the office. The system is easy to use and with tons of features, there are some aspects that can be improved but we had a good experience with it.

Pros

  • The flexibility to add different resource types
  • Easy to use mobile app
  • Simple visitor registration processes
  • Overall easy to use once you are up and running with the system

Cons

  • Setting up the system can took us almost 3 weeks, they team is helpful but there is a lot that was on our side
  • It's difficult to modify reservations once they took place
  • Managing invoices is another area that could be improved

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great for shared office spaces if you need to manage different companies and people accessing the space.

Archie review

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The booking pocess is very fast and I can see all resources available in a nice floor plan, along with information on who from my team is at the office at a certain time.

Pros

  • The option to see when my colleagues are at the office
  • Can see room availability from tablets outside of the door
  • Check-ins and notifications in Slack

Cons

  • No option to look up my colleagues schedule
  • It's annoying when I get logged out of the app

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Archie is well suited for companies that needs a modern booking system for meeting rooms, desks and other spaces, especially if they have adopted hybrid work.
