If other google products are already in use, it is very easy to get into Google Tasks as well and everybody probably has a google account, hence, does not need another account as well. It is helpful for simple to do lists, we would not recommend for larger project planning.
The Jira software works well for managing scrum boards and allocating resources to a task. When your Epics and Issues are set up properly, it can give you a good idea of where your team stands and the trajectory of your project. It is not the ideal solution if you need to provide documentation and support to people outside of your product teams or organization. It would benefit from having a public documentation or repository feature.
The best part, Google Tasks is FREE. No paywall, no ads. Just pure productivity. I was looking for some task-management app which is free, since it was difficult to get a paid one. I found that this was the perfect solution for me.
It's deeply integrated with other Google services like Gmail and Calendar. It can pick tasks with Gmail from emails, in the form of suggestions. It's up to you, completely. The tasks will appear in your calendar automatically, if it's time or date specific.
It's simple and hassle free to insert tasks and complete them. The app loads fast and hardly faces any crash. I encountered no such crashes.

In addition, the renewal of Jira Software and all Atlassian tools is predictable and clear, as the prices are published on the Atlassian website and there is no pyramid of intermediaries.
1. It's very easy to use and very user friendly. 2. It has all the essentials of a task-management app. 3. It is free and there is neither any paywall, nor any kind of ads. 4. It's hassle free to add or to check off any tasks in this app. 5. There is solid integration between tasks and other Google apps like Gmail and Calendar. 6. Never crashed, very rare chances of instability. 7. Support is very poor, don't expect more from a free app. 8. Acceptable Natural Language Processing ability.
JIRA Software is a pretty complex tool. We have a project manager for JIRA who onboarded us, created our board, and taught us the basics. I think it would have been pretty overwhelming to learn without her. JIRA offers so much functionality that I'm not aware of -- I constantly need to Google or ask others about existing features. Also, although they are all under the Atlassian umbrella, I find it difficult to switch between JIRA Software and Confluence.
Since the app is free, we can't expect to get a great support. 1. The app does not even have a dedicated forum where other members can help each other. 2. The app only has a feedback option, which I rarely think visits the team. 3. Even after sending many feedbacks, you can't expect a reply. 4. In a nutshell, if you face any problem, you can just wait. Nothing more than that.
Our JIRA support is handled internally by members of our Product Support team. It is not supported by a 3rd party. Our internal support will always sent out notifications for downtime which is usually done on the weekend unless it is required to fix a bug/issue that is affecting the entire company. Downtime is typically 3-4 hours and then once the maintenance is complete, another broadcast email is sent out informing the user community that the system is now available for use.
One of their strong points i stheir documentation. Almost all of the basic set up needed within JIRA is available online through atlassian and its easy to find and very precise. The more critical issues need to be addressed as well and hence the rating of 8 instead of a 9.
Take your time implementing Jira. Make sure you understand how you want to handle your projects and workflows. Investing more time in the implementation can pay off in a long run. It basically took us 5 days to define and implement correctly, but that meant smooth sailing later on.
Google Tasks is not necessarily better than its competitors and certainly not as robust or complex as most to-do applications and platforms available in the market, but because it is automatically integrated into G Suite services--our primary technology interface--this free option has precluded us from needing to explore other tools that are often "better" but not as intuitive when so much time and focus is already spent within the Google ecosystem.
Jira Software has more integrations and has more features than many of its competitors. While some of its competitors do have better UI/UX than Jira Software, they have improved this greatly over time. Atlassian also acquired Trello years ago, so that adds better user interfaces to the system. They do also offer a pretty in-depth library of how to customize the platform that others don't.

Has accurately allowed me personally to schedule out tasks into the future that I want to get done but don't have the mental space currently to be trying to remember or do
