Relative pricing was better for what we needed so we went with Clearview. Sales was supportive while we were comparing different products as well. We had one colleague that used Clearview before so it tipped it over the edge in their favour.
Clearview is designed and supported by a dedicated team of experts and continuously improving. I receive notifications every other week or at least every month on some of the enhancements and updates that are formally released for us to use.
Calero's robust telecom expense management and call accounting capabilities make it well suited for large organizations with complex communication expenses. Calero's mobile device management features make it well suited for our organization with employees who work remotely or in the field. As an organization that needs to keep our communication expenses within budget: Calero's cost control features, such as invoicing and payment management, make it well suited for our organization and keep our communication expenses within budget.
Like most platforms, its only as good as how well and how often you use it. It definitely is a good platform for pushing out content to your employee base or team. You need to have a decent size list of people to realize its true capability/value/reach. It requires someone to be regularly loading in content for shares and pushing them out to the individuals. But either from an email or when logged into the platform, a share can be done with just a few clicks
User interface: The software's interface could be made more user-friendly, with more intuitive navigation and clearer presentation of data and information.
Data analytics: Calero's data analytics capabilities could be enhanced to provide more detailed and actionable insights into an organization's communication and information expenses.
2 reasons - 1 the Clearview team was seamless in our buying process. 2 - we have it implemented and it would be very difficult to transfer directly when in a growth phase.
The user interface is fairly intuitive. It's not hard to find your content, set up your shares, or view your results/analytics. As mentioned, the content available for sharing within Clearview isn't great, but I don't place a ton of value on that, as this is likely intended for more sharing of original, unique content. I do think there still can be some improvements made to setting up shares across multiple platforms at the same time, but overall, it does the job fine
I couldn't ask for better support. Everytime I have a question or concern, I talk to a real live person, and it is always the same project manager or the same supporting analyst if he is out of the office. They really feel like a part of the team since we connect and communicate regularly. I honestly don't think you can find this type of support anywhere today in such an automated world.
Calero may be a good choice for the organizations that are looking for a well-established and well-regarded solution specifically for telecom expense management, but may not be the best choice for organizations with broader IT cost optimization needs.
With brightfin, it is tough to remember where to go for everything, it is not easy to search for things that you need urgently because you will have to keep some time in hand to get to the relevant details. I often find myself looking around and wasting time in selecting the wrong areas and thus navigating the site can be confusing for a new user. Searching through is certainly not simple and much more complicated as compared to Clearview where you simply glide through for the needed information.
Positive. The cost up front is usually 0.5% - 3% MAX and savings are usually upwards of 15% - 30% so there is a massive ROI.
The dedicated staff that supports the tool in the background is extremely helpful to address concerns and even requests for custom reports, completely free which is nice.
