Groove is a sales engagement platform that enables sales leaders to execute their strategy in a smarter and more adaptive way. With Groove, revenue leaders can use automation to do more with less, with the goal of driving greater efficiency and effectiveness across the customer lifecycle. Groove states they enable more than 75,000 users at ADP, Google, Uber, iHeartMedia, Capital One, and other large enterprises.
Assistant.to is a great tool, but Calendly's UI is much simpler and more powerful. With Assistant.to, you only have the ability to embed availability into an email, but with Calendly you actually have your own link to send people. They also have a Chrome extension and more …
I hesitate to even compare these two products because my prior experience with Calendly was limited and so long ago that my memory is likely compromised. What I remember most was that, at the time (circa 2016-2017), Calendly was almost exclusively used to set appointments as …
Groove has a lot more features than what Calendly offered, it's easier to use and provides a friendly environment to keep on learning and improving your tech skills in the app itself.
Calendly is too restricted and limited unless I use the paid version. Groove has so much more features on top of the calendar/meeting scheduler. I do wish both had an automatic Google Meets when a calendar event gets made, though, but it's OK because I have to edit the calendar …
Groove's integration with Salesforce is its primary differentiator. Outreach/Salesloft cater to all CRMs and their sync with SFDC has a delay, requires additional configuration, and is often frustrating for admins.
Salesforce Sales Engagement (formerly High Velocity Sales) also …
Groove integrates seamlessly with all the systems I use, and that makes it easier for me and my daily tasks as a salesperson. The other systems did not have as seamless integrations when I used them. Things could be different, and they may have upgraded. Also, Groove has some …
Eloqua might be the best marketing and emailing technology that 2005 had to offer, but it's incredibly outdated, inelegant, and challenging to use.

My workplace trained me in Groove when I started, so it wasn't so much of a choice for me. But compared to anything that I've used before, Groove is definitely the easiest to use and has changed my workflow immensely! I wish I'd known about it sooner because I would have …
I did not select Groove for the department, however, I have a lot more flexibility and customization with Groove re: scheduling. I would use the mentioned products occasionally however I largely worked on Outlook, which is a nightmare for students re: scheduling, and …
Groove is inexpensive and is a greater fit for early-stage startups. Outreach is a more sophisticated tool and a better fit for mid-large size firms. Groove is a perfect fit for our business and our pockets as well.
We first utilized Salesforce Inbox, which we loved for its capability of capturing part of the conversation (though sometimes manually), as well as the ability to add calendar invitations inline in the email. However, when we found that Groove captured and imported ALL of the …
It's well suited for music students' lessons. It's well suited for online coaching, primarily through places like Zoom and more. It helps simplify things for your clients, lets you program your schedule, and allows it all to go automatically! If you are working with a senior population, it may be a little tricky for them to sign up and then really hard for them to cancel lessons. There isn't a way to go to the site and cancel. You have to pull up the confirmed email and cancel from there, but people can lose emails.
Groove is excellent for the use case of improving sales representative and customer success representative productivity and data quality when used alongside Salesforce. It is a Salesforce focused tool. You should definitely consider Groove if you are a current Salesloft / Outreach user and you also use Salesforce.
Groove would not be a good fit for an organization not using Salesforce.
Sync with multiple calendar types so my schedule is always current.
Integration with Zoom to schedule meetings, send invites, and populate my Zoom app accordingly.
Automatic email communication to all parties with all relevant details in a clear format.
Allowing team members to do the same in a way that I'm also notified of what meetings are taking place saves a lot of time in terms of coordinating to find out what other people are doing.
Well-designed interface that simplifies everything down to its clearest expression. Language instruction and interaction are wonderfully simple and clear.
After a meeting is booked, having the ability to change the location without canceling the entire booking.
Being able to offer 2 different locked in locations for certain time periods of the day within the same event. So you're not having to create 2 events for the same thing, only different locations.
Giving users permission to create their own routing forms. We run an independent business model where our users like to have control over their subscriptions.
For all reasons like workflows, UI, and the way Calendly keeps all of us engaged through the Collective forum. It's indeed undeniable that no other product covers all business needs like Calendly does. On the other side, this has also reduced the workload by enabling us to focus more on other tasks for the day
I actually don't have any complaint regarding groove. It's just that I will give 9 since I confidently believe that there'd be updates in the future which would be more optimal not just for us users but for the business as well. The only regret I have with groove is I was not able to use it before the current company that I'm employed
I gave Calendly an 8 because overall I think it is very much user friendly even for someone who has never used anything similar. The only issue I have had with usability is what I already stated about how the settings are in sub categories making some things difficult to find at first.
Groove has been an awesome platform to use for sales pipeline management. I really enjoy how it integrates with my Salesforce, Gmail, and Google Calendar. It makes my job easier by helping me keep track of the progress of each sales contact that I have. Leads are able to reply and notify us using Groove.
I only reached out to Support once but they were very prompt and easy to work with. I had some questions about setting up the follow-up emails for after people would do the interview. They were very helpful and gave assistance and we solved the issue very fast. I would definitely recommend.
My company has a team dedicated to supporting our implementation of operative tools and business systems such as Groove. For this reason, I feel that we have ample support for Groove, although I have not personally contacted Groove for any support issues.
At Nearpod, I have been impressed with the internal expertise and support around Groove as a key tool for the Sales and Customer Success business systems and operations.
When I started using it, there were not many competitors in this space. I've seen some like Mixmax that seem to work well for solopreneurs or where free version might be better than Calendly's free version. I use the paid version of Calendly and it's just kept serving us well so why change?
I have used Dialpad. Dialpad is great, and Groove in my opinion does everything Dialpad does. Dialpad lacks the automation, which makes me feel that Groove is much better. I have not used any other CRMS besides these two, but I do believe Groove is light years ahead of Dialpad.
Reduced several hours a week of logging time in Salesforce that either wouldn't get done or would have been done to the detriment of more value add activities.
Saves hours per week by delivering actionable/useful info from Salesforce into Gmail
Gives me valuable insight on what emails are being opened and read. This helps plan targeting.
