Vista if a powerful ERP system that allows our company to manage the demanding needs of the construction industry. Vista helps us track subcontracts and change orders easily. The reports are easy to understand and modify to our needs. Vista has made it easy to track the progress of jobs in one report.
- There is great flexibility with Vista. We are able to easily customize reports, fields, and tables to fit our needs.
- The end user help website is a great tool to learn more.
- Paperless. We have been able to go paperless. There is no longer a need to pull documents from a file to create reports.
- Can be difficult to learn. There are a lot of fields and screens that need to be set up.
- Help and support can be difficult to research.
- There is a lot of room for errors if you do not understand the program.
- Billing module allows us to customize the reports to our needs.
- AP approvals and attachments have allowed us to go paperless and streamline the process.
- The costs are easy to track and run detailed reports.
Vista compared to time clock plus has the similar capabilities and would not require the manually uploads as Time Clock Plus. BUT Vista is more than double the price. This is the downfall of Keystyles/Viata.

Using Viewpoint Vista
30 - Financial, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract status, payroll, inventory, and purchase orders.
We have a few admins that help with answering questions and processes. We do not have an in-house IT person but have been able to manage in the accounting department. Myself included, we are able to get answers to questions/issues without needing an in-house support person.

- Having Duplicate payment workfiles open at one time
- Daily reports are not easy to customize
- We have been able to managebudget all jobs (even IT expenses) through the use of the job module and cost to complete
- We may eventually look into E payments

We do not. We are able to get the answers to the questions that we need. If there is an issue that would need greater support we will pay for that issue. We have not had to pay for extra's so it does not make sense to pay for additional.
Yes - We had an issue where the contract amount was not updated for billing. A support agent was able to fix the issue in a timely manner for us. The issue only happened once and with help we were able to get past it.
They have always been able to help with my questions and so that I could get past an issue. In the last two weeks I had accidently closed a payroll batch and it was no longer available in timecard entry in Keystyles. They were able to quickly help me to get the batch back up and added to Keystyles.

Upgrading Vista
Yes - We went through an upgrade this December and had issues with reports running for all users. Viewpoint was able to provide a fix farily quickly that had to be installed on all computers. There is still one issue that has not been resolved.
