Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
I use Sage Intacct for our part department of an electric contracting company. I am able to create purchase orders as well as inventory lists to send to our project managers and vendors. Sage Intacct has made this process easy and straight forward, we're able to update the system when we find road bumps that would otherwise slow our processes and continue to move forward with our procedures. While there have been hiccups with the transition to Sage Intacct, I feel that the system will be a much better option than what we were working with previously. Everything in Sage Intaact is easily accessible and in one system, while before we were using 2-3.
- Converting
- Purchase Orders
- Kits
- Adding multiple quantities of the same part is impossible it seems. We have different lengths of wire needed on the same jobs at times.
- Training was very confusing, changing vocabulary and being on the same page about what the topic for that meeting would be.
- Saving a kit as a draft would be a helpful feature.
- I'm sure this software was expensive
- I feel that this transition has made my job easier and more efficient
While I am no longer on the billing side of things, I can only imagine how much the team has benefited from having everything in one system.
I did not personally have a say in switching systems/ software's, however I have been able to more effectively communicate updates that would improve our experience with Sage Intacct and feel that changes like that wouldn't be possible in QuickBooks. We could no longer effectively work in that system any longer due to the volume of our jobs.
