Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management
Oracle Primavera is primarily used my internal innovation stakeholders in order to manage internal cross-functional new product launches, services, or enhancements. It helps to solve the problems of launching the aforementioned projects on-time, within a budget, and in line with its scope. It is used as a centralized hub in order to manage, organize, and create reports for projects.
- Project Task & Graphics Manipulations
- Relatively Responsive in Comparison to Similar Tools
- Simple Information Extraction
- The system feels a bit manual at times, primarily in entry.
- Graphics could used to be spruced up to deliver more professionally looking outputs.
- Return on Investment achieved, since projects are launched on time.
- Meeting Quarterly Forecasts, since projects are organized via easy to understand gantt chart.
When compared to the likes of the field, Oracle is the least friendly in regards to being accessible to the team with Smartsheet working the most favorably in that aspect. Otherwise, Oracle's PM program is more intuitive than Microsoft Project, has more features when compared to Smartsheet, and is more organized than Wrike. Additionally, it's the only tool that is simple to extract good data and visual directions for next steps.
