Overall Satisfaction with IFTTT
IFFT is being used as part of our automation back end. We are currently using it as a bridge between multiple services such as Google and different sensors that do not normally talk to each other. We are using IFFT to publish data to Google Docs and read in data from other services.
- Very simple interface.
- Connects to a multitude of services and sensors.
- Allows integration between services that would normally require expensive custom solutions.
- The interface is sometimes too simple.
- There are some clunky issues when you want to do more than one event at a time.
- Not open for full customization.
- This has been a great positive ROI as we no longer have to build custom integrations between services.
- Our time to live integrations has been considerably shortened.
- We have been able to find new services just by exploring what IFTTT has to offer.
We have used Microsoft Flow, Stringify and IFTTT for various solutions. Stringify is no longer an option as it was shut down. We have found that IFTTT and Flow both have their place and in some places working together for the same task. We have found there is no one universal platform and it is all about the end solution.
