Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Citrix Workspace is used for our desktop applications as a whole - we can log in once, and use all applications that we need to conduct business. We have storage applications for documents, email, applications to capture details of insurance policies, various Office products, Webex capabilities for online meetings and messaging, and access to the internet for research.

Pros and Cons

Provides one login for access to all needed applications.
Login to Citrix Workspace is fast.

I have trouble recognizing when I am in or out of Citrix Workspace.

Very little down time.
Smooth login procedure.

Return on Investment

During the pandemic, Citrix Workspace was vital in allowing me to continue operations by working from home. Without Citrix Workspace, I think that our company would have had a lot of trouble with all of the WFH operations.

Adobe Connect

There is really no comparison here - Adobe just doesn't have the bandwidth to provide all of the services that Citrix Workspace does.

Likelihood to Recommend

The connection between Citrix Workspace and Webex is tough to manage in my opinion. If I am on a Webex call, for example, I sometimes have to log out of Citrix Workspace in order to be able to use both Webex and Excel to view documents on that call. I wish it were seamless.
