Overall Satisfaction with Bitdefender GravityZone

I use Bitdefender GravityZone for one of the small businesses I support. This business has 12 computers spread across 3 sites. The product is able to protect all these machines against malicious threats from outside of the organization (email, phishing, attachment attacks etc.), and also against intended or unintended attacks from within, e.g. someone putting an infected USB device into a PC port. I can see at a glance how the product is protecting the devices within the Company and how many times it gets attacked, along with the source of the attack and how Bitdefender has removed or made the machines safe again.

  • Making it easier to create an endpoint package to deploy to a new PC on the network.

  • It has helped to increase my revenue from recurring subscriptions - as I continue to grow I am hoping to continue building on this.
  • I can use the product as part of a "Complete IT Solution" to clients, alongside my other services (Hardware and Software support)
On the whole I find the product very easy to use but some features need me to do some digging about in the console menus to find everything. I think if the interface used a bit less jargon and more clear plain language, it would be easier to find how to do things within the console.
I find that Bitdefender GravityZone is more resilient to attack than the Norton product. I've been out to too many machines that have been compromised with the Norton Antivirus product on them. I trust Bitdefender to protect the device effectively against threats better than any other antivirus product on the market.

BitdefenderGravityZone is well suited for use within an organization or Company where there are multiple users and computers (more than 2 or 3 PCs) , since it is very scalable and becomes more efficient to use with the more machines you protect. From a remote support point of view, the product is excellent and saves a huge amount of time, particularly as the number of machines increase in a business; not only that but you can manage many different businesses from the same console.

Using Bitdefender GravityZone

1 - I use it, as it is my job to do everything in the company. I'm the Company Owner / Director.

I would probably say scalability because I want to be able to remote monitor a business with multiple PCs and do it all from my laptop.
I wouldn't change my evaluation and selection process. I just look for the best products on the market and try to use those. Because Bitdefender fits that criteria, and is not expensive, its easily my first choice.

Bitdefender GravityZone Reliability

I give it this rating because one you have the console running, you can add or remove whole companies, add computer endpoints (and remove them), and easily create and deploy endpoint packages to the machines that need the software. Once installed, the software starts to report back to the Bitdefender servers and the number of active licences is then seen and billed.
Yes its very available. The software continues to protect you even if you are offline. It constantly runs in the background and will check for updates again once back online.
The console is quite fast and responsive, and once you start to get used to it, it is easy to use and you can see the main dashboard status at a glance. You can then dig deeper into the individual Companies / Endpoint clients and check the status of each. The software itself is not heavy on system resources in each PC.
