Overall Satisfaction with Arena PLM and QMS
BOM management and issuing ECOs. Helps to easily manage complex BOMs.
- Import files makes it easier to create/update several BOM changes across many part numbers.
- Easy to search to find ECOs and documents stored in the system.
- Unable to edit/update BOM on previous revisions of part number.
- The sourcing and supplier access is confusing. Difficult for companies that are approved suppliers to see part number.
- Faster time to market to release complex BOM configurations of over 200 products.
- Easier to find and manage documents.
- Price
We are a small business, so Arena was attractive since it had a lower cost versus other PLM services.
I was not part of the initial setup of Arena in our company. Deploying to outside vendors seemed to be pretty easy.
Agile seems easier to use than Arena.
Using Arena PLM and QMS
We use Arena PLM to indicate which components are RoHS and REACH. This helps us to summarize which finished good BOMs are within RoHS and REACH compliance.
We have expanded it to our CM partners, our design team, and more members in the supply chain. Internal team members had no issues with the expansion. Some CM contacts sometimes had issues accessing some of the BOM components.
Arena PLM helps you stay organizes with your thousands of components and finished products.
The customer success team is responsive and helpful. I had no issues with them.
