Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use it for entering orders, receiving payments, and entering POS. We use it for production orders. We use it for planning production, for planning purchasing, and we're trying to get it started for lead generation and emailing.
- I love the generic inquiries. We've created many of our own and it's very helpful and easy for the users to understand there are fields that they can click through and get to other pages and it's wonderful.
- We have kind of a complex pricing structure and we use line discounts as well as group discounts. And the group discounts are a bit difficult to use. We can't see it on the first page of the order. We can't see a for each price on an item and so we've had to modify our forms quite a bit to get that to work for us. It is working, but I would love for some of that to be more visible to my end users.
- The MRP has been fantastic because we used to have, we had somebody who was our purchasing manager who had a lot of information in his head, and now with MRP we were able to train somebody new pretty quickly and we're able to get a lot of that information to him directly out of the system.
7-12 months
I would say that we're looking at implementing some things that'll really answer that question, but right now just speeding up some of the data entry things for sure have helped us get back to our customers faster.
That's a tough one because we're a pretty niche industry. It's mainly for my specific company. We manufacture to order, we manufacture stock, and we also engineer to order occasionally. So this is a software that really helps us do all of that.
