Extensive API documentation: Several users have praised the extensive API documentation provided by the framework, which has allowed for easy integration and the ability to add specific functionality as needed.
Responsive controls for web development: Reviewers have consistently mentioned that the controls for web development are responsive out of the box. This has made it easy to create interactive and user-friendly applications.
Wide range of functionality: Many users appreciate that the framework's controls include a lot of functionality, such as presenting database information in logical formats and providing user interactive informational views. This allows for a consistent user experience across pages and applications.
Difficult learning curve: Some users have found that certain components of the software have a difficult learning curve, which can be attributed to the complexity of the control. This steep learning curve may require users to invest more time and effort into understanding and using these components effectively.
Breaking changes with version updates: Several reviewers have encountered breaking changes when updating to minor versions, such as licensing errors. These unexpected changes can disrupt workflows and cause frustration among users who rely on stable and consistent functionality. It is important for developers to carefully consider the impact of these changes before releasing new versions.
Limited theming options: Users have expressed frustration over the inability to theme components using CSS variables, which requires a fully custom solution. This limitation means that users cannot easily apply consistent visual styles across their applications or adapt to different design requirements. Offering more flexible theming options would enhance customization capabilities and improve user experience.
Users recommend exploring Syncfusion Essential Studio Enterprise Edition in depth to understand its design concept. They suggest taking advantage of the community license and trying the trial version. Users highly recommend Syncfusion for any development needs as it reduces development time and offers a broad set of capabilities. Additionally, users mention that Syncfusion has the best set of tools available in the market and suggest contacting the sales team for great offers. However, users caution about potential performance problems and bugs in the Blazor tools. Overall, users recommend Syncfusion for implementing fast applications with visual and usability capabilities, and they appreciate the comprehensive support provided by Syncfusion for mobile, desktop, or web-based applications.

(1-25 of 27)Best Word document editor on market
- View a Word document.
- Preserve styling of Word Document.
- Editing Word Document.
- Improve styling of Word document even more, so its 1 to 1 with MS Word
Review
- Chat support
- UI Control Libraries
- Blazor Components
- More advanced and complex features
- More detailed documentation
- Expanding the range of examples to cover more scenarios
Less Appropriate Scenarios: Startup Projects with Limited Budgets,Real-time, High-frequency Trading Platforms, Projects with a Heavy Focus on Custom UI Design, Ultra-lightweight Applications.
- Availability of the Communicty Edition
- Customer Support is great
- Product availability in different environments and languages
- ability to see more detailed code in demo source on portal
- Data visualization - loved the choices that are available
- Particularly liked the timetable module
- As far as data visualization goes, the asks never end. I would like to see more options and flexibility around this.
Nice controls to have
We mainly use the grid, that helps us create "list" pages with filters on columns relatively quickly and easily.
The datetime control and the treeview (even if difficult to master) are also helpful
- Grid with filters
- datetime picker
- Documentation for asp.net core controls, for the two way binding
- Real-life complex examples
- Radio-button and checkboxes bindings
If you just need some radio's and checkboxes it's easier to use simple html with some bootstrap or alike css frameworks for the style
Couldn't have done it without Syncfusion
- The datagrid's built-in functionality is extremely robust. Sorting, filtering, various columnar controls, moving columns, resizing, etc.
- The sheer number of controls available is comforting. Although we did not use most of them, it is good to know that they are they if we need them for this and other applications.
- The support is world class, even for a single developer company like us. I can't say enough good things about the support. They saved my behind more times than I can say. They are knowledgeable and responsive. The Chat feature is very useful.
- I'd give the documentation a B+. Most times I can find what I want but sometimes what I'm looking for is buried. Overall very good, but could be a little bit better.
Excellent product for developers
It provides components that give extensive features, such as the sfDataGrid.
It is used in our downloadable products as well as customised software solutions for clients.
I have begun to develop with .net MAUI and the Syncfusion components are regularly being added to, making the development process and ultimately the user experience much better .
- Data grids
- Popups
- Excel integration
- Better image processing
Infinite benefit for the invested money. Yes, mathematics is inexorable and gives this result.
- Blazor controls works fine.
- Blog has good ideas
- documentation is good
- examples are useful
- blazor toolbar control has some unexpected behavior
We mostly use controls to create a web user interface. The web user interface depends on css. It seems to me that most unexpected situations occur due to accidental or intentional use of several specialized css in the same project.
- Provides well designed products
- Is very easy to use
- Fits nicely in almost any scenario
- Improvement in some parts of the documentation
- Adding some features to some WPF products
- The functionalities of the grids are very awesome. Withe then, the user interacts naturally with the system.
- The support of the framework is one of the best and mora faster than I know, congrutalions for that.
- I think one of the best options is the multiple versions to download. With that, it dose not matter what operation system or type of develop you are going to use, this framework is ver good.
- I think the documentation. I fell that you can improve with more examples or another redaction.
- Some of the controls slow the execution time in a considerable range.
- I think you can do a video channel vitw practices or examples.
Great GUI, Great Support
- Good GUI Controls
- Good read/write access to Excel files and PDF files
- Documentation is mediocre but support is good
Good for a small team so that you can spend time doing your application logic not GUI controls
Syncfusion Essential Studio Review: Why It's Recommending than Ever for .NET Core Web Application Development
- Web UI Rapid Application Development
- PDF Processing
- EXCEL Processing
- Shall they check thier pricing model?
- ASP.NET Blazor UI development
- ASP.NET Core Razor UI development
- PDF and EXCEL processing in .NET Core
- Old ASP.NET world like WebForm or MVC
I appreciate their great support with very fast response times, detailed responses mostly contain working samples. In case a problem is confirmed, there are weekly builds as well as customer specific patches addressing the exact problem.
- XlsIO - processing existing workbook in most historical formats, creating perfect application exports
- WPF - enhanced components by very useful features, advanced components like Pivot table
- Blazor - great for building web enterprise application
- Documentation sometimes doesn't reflect latest version, lack of reference to used Nuget packages at all pages
The products we develop are for other companies and address different types of problems. We have developed systems for:
- Internal documents digitalization and make them available for external users based on user's privileges.
- Control for trailer containers in a warehouse parking area of a import/export company.
- Inventory control for items that an import/export company takes from USA to Mexico.
- We are currently developing a software for a church to make content available to the general public (preaching messages, training classes, etc.)
- We are taking a new project for analyzing Mexican invoices (known as CFDIs) and provide salaried employees with information about taxes in this country.
- Extensive number of controls to build GUIs
- Controls for web development are responsive out of the box
- Controls have an extensive number of properties, methods and events
- Easy integration
- Controls include a lot of functionality
- Easy to add specific functionality
- For me, Syncfusion Essential Studio Enterprise Edition controls provide everything I need (and more).
Sink Few Shun is Awe Sum
- Present database information in logical formats
- Provide user interactive informational views
- Provide consistent user experience across pages and applications
- Most complex activities (beyond the out of the box examples) require a very extensive knowledge of javascript. This is not really a short coming of the product but rather a reality for the user who is trying to fully utilize the capabilities of the software.
My Syncfusion Experience
We are using for business Dashboards presentation layer.
- Gauge Library
- Document Widgets like Spreadsheet display is exceptionally well
- Chart Library
- React Native Support
- Gradient Options on the Widget
- Dynamic Data change on data update (rather than refresh of data pages)
- We create all of our Word Documents with the DocIO Provider
- We create customer ready excel Sheets with XLSIO
- For the Lookand Feel we use the Components for ASp Core and Blazor
Free, short learning curve, and it works
- easy to use
- supports binding well
- weekly update cadence is excellent
- responsive support group
- documentation is a little skimpy in some places; I find examples almost by accident
Some good some bad (bugs, bugs, bugs)
- Documentation
- Support
- We really need you to focus better quality. Less bugs. They should slow down of creating new feature and pay attention into quality.
- Less forced themes. More freedom for styling
- UI
- PDF
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- pdfviewer unify package for win, osx and linux
Great product
- UI UX
- Technical Documentation
- Support
- The request for new features requires too much voting, some important features are relevant, but the other peers doesnt vote because they don't know those features requests exists.
Excellent Quality and Value
- Components work & styled right out of the box
- Easy to use, great usage examples
- Great documentation
- No suggestions on improvement, does the task at hand
Great package with lots of functionality
- API Documentation
- Demo Pages
- Support
- Sometimes links point to dead addresses in the documentation.
- Some components have a difficult learning curve but that is usually due to the complexity of the control.
- Minor version changes introduce breaking changes, for example updating from 20.1.x to 20.2.x gives us licensing errors, which in my opinion is a kind of breaking change as it requires all users to update their licenses.
- Theming with CSS variables is not possible. Access to Theme Studio code is not possible. So a fully custom solution is needed to make Syncfusion Essential Studio Enterprise Edition components themeable with CSS variables.
A true value for money : Syncfusion Essential Studio Enterprise :
- Easy to integrate with visual studio.
- Community version is available .
- Speeding up your task by drag - drop elements.
- Great reporting.
- Sometime it's getting stuck due to my pc memory issues.
- Installation and uninstallation take a bit longer than excepted.
- Window form, vb.net, and web applications like Asp.net MVC, Asp.net core.
- drag-drop features.
- Unique component not easily found in other vendors like Diagram or Pivot Grid
- Very good support when we need help
- Easy royalty free licensing
- Many platforms available
- Always on the edge of new platforms
- Better documentation
- Publish all private support tickets for review of others by default unless the customer asks to be private
- More samples
