We used StackAdapt at [...] for our campaigns targeting users. (... owns ....) We were not able to get good ROI on the prospecting campaigns, but we got good returns for the retargeting campaigns. The problem with the prospecting campaigns was that we had a very huge audience segment to target. We should have some more third-party audience segments to target by looking at our business Niche. We are currently working with [...] on some new campaigns and looking forward to seeing how those work out. One thing about StackAdapt that we love is the customer service. They are always very responsive on the support team and always willing to help out in a timely manner.
  • Good returns for the retargeting campaigns
  • [..] (A Canada rep) is great at communicating and helping us. She responds very quickly and effectively.
  • StackAdapt has great customer service and support teams
  • They are great at adapting to help new campaigns out perform old campaigns
  • StackAdapt team is also very helpful in walking us through everything and fast at responding
  • StackAdapt is very flexible with pricing and options and a great starter for small businesses
  • We were not able to get good ROI on the prospecting campaigns because our audience was too large
  • StackAdapt has a lot to learn which is very time consuming. However, on a positive note, the team does respond to support questions very quickly
  • There is not a Geo-radius function so we do have to use Mapsly for that and they have many crashes
  • Wish they could do more integrations but they are still growing

Love this tool to help with our programmatic ad buys. It's easy to use and gets us around other platforms minimum. I love how I can look at different units in the platform to see what works best for my budget. The audience insight tools are also super helpful to ensure my clients spend smartly.
  • Easy set up
  • High inventory
  • Low prices
  • Wish i didn't have to wait for the reps to get back to us
  • Wish self serve had more features
  • Wish the costs could be even lower
If you're looking for a programmatic partner for under $1000K/month level of ad spend, I recommend StackAdapt. It's easy to get started and allows for credit card payment. The audience insight tools separate this from Google display or a more traditional display partner allowing both DOOH plus programmatic display. It's great to see everything in one platform vs so many logins or rep emails.

In our e-commerce business, we use StackAdapt to address audience targeting, multi-channel advertising, campaign optimization, creative management, and attribution/reporting challenges. It helps with customer acquisition, retargeting, brand awareness, seasonal promotions, and product-specific campaigns, ensuring precise targeting, efficient management, and improved campaign performance across digital channels. It is a very versatile and cross functional tool.
  • Customer acquiring
  • Multi channel marketing
  • Audience specific targeting
  • User interface difficulties
  • Requires more advanced reporting functionalities
  • Improved ease of integration with other platforms
In multi channel campaigns such as launching a new product and needing to reach a specific audience segment. StackAdapt’s advanced targeting capabilities, such as demographic, interest, and behaviour targeting, make it ideal for precisely reaching potential customers likely to be interested in our new product. It works particularly well in communicating with your target audience.

We use StackAdapt as our DSP, most commonly for running programmatic display, audio (podcasts and commercials), and connected TV (including on specialty channels like Hulu, Disney+, etc.). They are currently the only CTV and programmatic audio vendor that we use, and we use them as a managed service. We have a StackAdapt rep who sets up and maintains the campaigns for us, and we pull our own reporting on performance via an API connection.
  • Affordable placements & ad delivery.
  • Managed service means saved time for our agency.
  • Reasonable service fee to use them for managed media services.
  • There has been occasional slopping maintenance of the campaigns, and we have to follow up with questions about spending spikes or significant changes in delivery CPMs.
  • Account rep knowledge can sometimes be lacking. When we question our reps about performance, we sometimes get confusing or nonsensical answers.
  • The reporting UI is definitely clunky and unintuitive.
If you want to get into CTV, programmatic audio, or programmatic display but aren't confident enough to run the campaigns independently, StackAdapt could be a good solution. If you're more satisfied with your media-buying abilities, you could probably avoid the managed service option with StackAdapt and run the ads independently through their UI.

It offers a wide range of choices for audience targeting, including access to an extensive library of third-party audiences. The campaign setup is straightforward and well-organized, simplifying the creation and labeling of big accounts. Thanks to the targeted third-party audiences, targeting particular businesses and industries with constraints is much simpler. The revenues and the quality of impressions have made learning a new platform well worth it.
  • Get work done.
  • Be adaptable.
  • Team is easy to work with.
  • It's challenging to determine which websites and other locations our adverts ran on.
  • I'm not sure how the advertisements are affecting our total efforts.
I would recommend it to my friend. While managing the most effective campaign for our clients, we are constantly looking for ways to expand our user base and gain greater control over our target audiences. StackAdapt can identify those answers, and the outcomes are already evident—performance is consistently excellent.

We utilize StackAdapt to target users for a health & beauty franchisee in order to drive local-level reservations at our clients' centers. We use it primarily for one client, thought we have tested a few others, and sent out RFPs for a few others. We chose StackAdapt as another DSP we used was not driving efficient results, and we knew there was a better "solution" out there.
  • Outstanding customer service: quick to respond, great (proactive) recommendations and reporting.
  • Fair pricing.
  • Great response time to RFPs with great insights and opportunities.
  • Some of the audience targets are a bit small, even for less than niche audiences/targets.
StackAdapt is great for agencies/clients that don't have the time or resources to be in a UI managing campaigns daily.

We deployed StackAdapt as a test of native advertising in a B2B agency environment. Would native advertising drive more, less, or the same traffic as other paid advertising. We used it for our agency but have not deployed it for our clients.
  • Their ad development tool is outstanding.
  • They offer to help you create a super-detailed profile of your specific audience but their online tools for ratcheting down your audience are strong.
  • Their customer support works hard for you.
  • There is no way to QA your own ads. They QA for you and based on the level of their customer support, you can trust their QA, but the lack of self-assessment can cause problems for your company/agency.
  • To know where your ads were actually deployed, when, and for how long would be amazing. They certainly know because they can track all sorts of analytics.
  • Budgeting.
For B2C applications, if you have a product that dovetails with someone's lifestyle, using StackAdapt will put you in your prospective client's lap. For B2B applications, you will need intimate knowledge of what your prospects do when they are reading or searching for pleasure in order to hit them at the right time. Your ad and content will need to address their pain points so well that they mentally shift gears from escape from work back to work to click and follow your breadcrumbs.

We use it to run a variety of video campaigns with a number of different objectives. We've leveraged StackAdapt for awareness campaigns, generating a large pool of users to then retarget at a later date with more targeted content, as well as boosting content for clicks in hopes on driving on-page conversions for clients.
  • Communication: Their reps are incredibly transparent, thorough and detailed. I really, really appreciate that.
  • Creativity: Not only are the reps communicative, they actually bring new, fresh ideas to the table. As busy as we are, I can't thank them enough for that.
  • Easy-to-use: As detailed as the dashboard is, it's actually pretty easy to use and bring new users up-to-speed on.
  • I'd like to see easier grouped campaign reporting.
  • Easy to find benchmarks and anticipated results. I love how LinkedIn's ad platform gives you examples of what to expect with your campaign. Having an easily accessible view of benchmarks and projected results would be great.
  • Live mockups. Like Teads, I'd love to see shareable mockups of ads to share with stakeholders for approval.
I've only used the platform for video ad distribution, but overall, I've been beyond impressed with the results we've been able to generate for a number of clients thus far. Be it awareness, views, impressions, clicks, or on-page conversions, our various campaigns have generated strong results across the board. We've recently started a retargeting/sequencing campaign, so I'm really interested to see what kind of results that will generate.

I've been working with StackAdapt for more than 4 years. I've always found the UI to be intuitive and easy to use. Performance has always been great, especially user engagement. The account team is second to none in their ability to support, advise, and problem solve. It's truly a great product that I would recommend adding to the tech stack for any digital marketing team.
  • User engagement
  • Conversion rate
  • CPA
  • Bid factoring
  • More detailed reporting.
  • Better campaign structure for easier use.
If you need to get the best native inventory and help with branding initiatives, StackAdapt can really come in handy.

At our company, the media department uses StackAdapt across a number of our clients. We use their platform mainly for their native video placements, as well as the ability to run those on custom targets StackAdapt creates based on keywords and site lists we provide. We have also used it to retarget users who have watched at least 50% of one of our promoted videos.
  • StackAdapt's video units work particularly well in terms of view rates across both Pre-Roll and Out-Stream video. This is, of course, depending on creative as well, but there has been consistent performance across most of the campaigns I have run.
  • These video units also serve to drive a decent amount of web traffic to our client's landing page. With CTRs that often out-perform other video centered vendors we have run with.
  • They are able to retarget users who have watched a portion of your video content with static in-feed native ads. Though we haven't seen many conversions coming from this tactic, the referral traffic has been at or above our benchmarks.
  • Their reporting tool seems clunky at first, and not super intuitive to use. But once you spend a little time with it the tool can actually be pretty useful.
  • Sometimes the dashboard function doesn't properly filter out everything you ask it to, forcing you to refresh the page and try again.
  • The pacing tool shown in the dashboard often makes no sense in the numbers it represents. My campaigns have just about always delivered in full, so this isn't exactly an issue, but still confusing to look at.
When there is content significant to your clients' branding/goals at the time, StackAdapt is a good tool to reach both current and prospective audiences. The custom targeting capabilities can be a nice addition to a campaign when you want to reach a specific audience based on their intent or topics of interest. If time allows, you can get very granular in the detail of these audiences.
