- I found setting up the meeting less intuitive than other similar apps
- I struggle to get back to in-call messages after meeting was finished
- when I first set up the meeting my partners have not got their invitations
Easily an amazing hassle-free conferencing application
The users also get the flexibility to use either the web client or the mobile client which enhances the mobility that the users can experience when using Google Hangouts Meet.

Better Connectivity with Google Meet
- Google Meet is easy to use and offers great features
- The quality of video and audio is amazing
- Deployment is easy
- Never buffers when network is unstable
- No recording option for free users
- The free version comes with limited features
Its easy to meet with Google Meet
- Low data usage. Works perfectly fine even on slow network.
- No installation needed. Web version is all you need. Fully supported my major web browsers like Chrome & Edge.
- Captions are great. Non-native English speakers may find it useful. Just turn on the Captions and it starts translating the audio in real-time.
- Support background images. Definitely useful when we need to hide our room condition.
- Breakout room, polls, Q&A options are added advantage.
- Not suited when we have to address a huge set of people. We usually face problems when we have more than 60 participants and prefer other platforms.
- Each participant is shown as a tile which could have been made resizable.
- Recording is like a basic need. It should be made available to free users as well.
Its integration with calendar makes it really useful. This makes it easier to include meeting URL in the invite. It also get the attachments automatically from your calendar when you are in meeting.
It works even when you have a slow network. The mobile application is equally useful and dependable.
- Easy to use
- Bug friendly
- Good Screen Sharing capablity
- Very good video quality
- Inviting members in the meeting
- Live Polling in the meeting
- Document Sharing
Great value for the price and easy to use
- First and foremost, it's free. It has a limited amount of users and time, but the value is great.
- It's easy to access, as you don't have to download any application and the connection to the servers is great.
- The user interface is simple and clear for everyone, you may not be able to use it with children, but everyone is able to read and act accordingly when performing a task (sharing screens, sharing files, chatting, turning features off and on, etc.).
- You can use features in Google's portfolio to your advantage while using it
- It doesn't have all the features that other meeting/training options have, like annotations that are easy to use or remote control when sharing a screen
Webinars or presentations where participation is not completely necessary are great in Google Hangouts Meet too.
For training classes where the participants need to control the presenter's computer or someone would like to annotate directly in someone else's computer, it might not be ideal, as you could do it downloading an extension, but it's not integrated.
- It is a very light software that supports any device; I mainly have it on my cell phone, which has been excellent.
- I communicate with my workgroup from this application to solve any problem.
- The chat is fast and very simple to use.
- I can save the chat history, see who can initiate the conversation and the high quality.
- They should fix the stability of the microphone; honestly, it is complicated to start a conversation when this specifically fails.
- I have had problems with additional recharging costs when adding my phone number.
Best video call service
- Ease of use
- Slideshow possibility
- Chat space
- Recording of meetings
- Screen sharing and presenting in one click and you can select specific windows or the entire screen
- Record functionality is simple and the delivery straight to your email is great with Drive storage as well.
- Chat also helps share links if needed.
- I always find the need to share a file during the call and not being able to do that via the chat is a miss I feel.
The best video conferencing tool
Everyone can connect at a time from anywhere, no need to seat at the same place which is the biggest problem is solved by Google Hangout Meet.
We can send the invitation by that all the people can notify and join.
- All the participants up to the 100 can connect at a time.
- Anyone can share the screen and explain their thoughts or deliver the information.
- Admin has access to remove or mute any of the participants.
- There is functionality of accessing the screen of participant is not there in a meet which is there in similar type of product.
- Maximum participants can join is 100, which needs to be some more because organization may have more number of participants.
- Sometime the video quality is not good we need to rejoin to get that better.
The user interface of Google Hangout Meet is very simple anyone can join with few clicks.
We can create future meetings and invite people to notify them about a meeting.
Also, I like the integration with Google Calender which is quite helpful to attend the meeting on a time.
Google Handouts Meet: Collaborative Communication
- Its high quality audio and video.
- Events can be created directly from Google Calendar as required.
- Video streaming.
- The security offered on every connection, whether audio or video, ensures that content is always protected.
- Its interface is easy to use.
- Their mobile application is easy to use and works very well.
- Sincroniza con Google Drive.
- Reduce the size of the chat box [because] it occupies a large part of the screen and makes it difficult to carry out other processes.
- All information or data shared in the chat during a meeting is lost after the meeting is over.
- Compatibility with browsers other than [Chrome].
Search No Further: Google is Eager to Meet Your Expectations
- Integration of other apps, like JamBoard
- Easy-to-use interface
- Integrated with Google Calendar
- Breakout rooms for smaller group discussion
- Difficult to re-add individuals who have been removed from video
- Default setting to “Spotlight” or “Grid View” can be challenging
- Limited connectivity with large groups
Best way to streamline your video communication
- Easy to use and invite others to use
- Easy to share your screen and record meetings
- Syncs with your calendar, keeping things organized
- Additonal cost for the record feature
Google Hangouts Meet Means Business.
- Their Speech to Text feature is very useful.
- The shared screen can be zoomed and the contents get more detailed which helps the user to notice small details.
- The video feed is very stable and clear unlike others video conference apps.
- If you get kicked out of meeting due to bad network you can easily rejoin without any hassle.
- Sometimes the app closes suddenly.
- The free version has fewer features.
Meet: Decent Free Solution
- There is lots of customization to the platform through add-ons.
- It is convenient and easy to integrate since we utilize G Suite.
- It's hard to beat a system that is entirely free!
- Meet as it comes doesn't have a great way to handle large meetings.
- I don't like the way they hide the mute button. It's a disruptive view to mute/unmute.
- Chat box is the only way to document collaborations within the meeting.
Google Hangouts Meet has been a boon during this pandemic.
- Video Conferencing
- Instant Text
- File Sharing
- Social Connectivity
- Free International Calling
- UI/UX
- Features like changing background in Video Chat
- Screen Control
Hangouts and Meet at Google.
- Ease of access
- Price
- One-click login
- Video and audio quality
- It doesn't work efficiently for more than 10 group of people.
- Accessibility with other web browsers such as Firefox, UC Browser, and Safari.
- Allows for a simple interaction with both video and audio in a quality manner
- Google Meet takes very little training for the user.
- Quality of the transaction is quite good.
- Increase the size of the video window for the host.
- Offer a transcript of the video call.
- Forward a reminder of the video conference to the host at a preset time prior to the event.
Google Meet: Great for a hangout, not for an office meet!
- Browser-based interface available, no installation needed.
- Simple mobile app.
- Screen-share capability.
- Preview window is very small.
- Chat is not integrated with hangouts, it's a little confusing.
It is very easy to have a single link that you can reuse. I use one link for all 1:1 meetings that are impromptu so I don't need to create a new link each time.
