The TOPdesk license model:
- Modular: Organizations purchase only the modules needed
- Saas or On premise
- Supports unlimited number of assets.
- End users OR service agents based. For flexibility in the number of agents for e.g. extra busy times of the year, the end user license allows adding agents without any restrictions, no day passes needed.
They are similar programs that would help us mainly in customer support, TOPdesk was chosen by recommendation of another company that already used the service and indicated the benefits of the self-service portal.
TopDesk was by the most cost efficient product. Cerberus was a free to begin with but requires many updates and changes to do everything we needed. It lacked the reporting tools needed to accurately obtain statistics on past requests.
Topdesk was imo a better performing and more complete solution then the other products mentioned. it must be said that it is a while ago since I used the other products.
